Xolo Omega 5.0

Xolo Omega 5.0 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution and 294ppi pixel density. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, Exmor R Sensor and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera which enables video calls and selfies. The rear camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p fullHD resolution.

The Omega 5.0 runs the proprietary Hive UI which was first used in Xolo 8X-1000 smartphone. The Hive UI is based on Android 4.4 KitKat and bears an amazing visual appeal. Some of the features of the Hive UI includes a new launcher and support for themes, all this can be downloaded via EDGE, a special store which has features such as themes, ringtones and wallpapers created by the community and Indian artists.

The Hive UI also includes a new contacts app that requires Facebook integration. There is also Chameleon widget for notifications of gallery, weather, calendar, missed calls, SMS and email. The Omega 5.0 is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MT6592M MediaTek processor. The dual SIM device comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Omega 5.0 is backed by a 2100mAh battery. It has connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and GPRS. The device measures 144x72x10.5mm and will be available in Black colour.
