Xolo Q700 Club

The Xolo Q700 Club comes with a 5MP back snapper, dual front speakers for stereo sound, and is water and dust resistant.

The dual SIM smartphone runs Google's Android 4.4 KitKat OS, with an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop expected in the future. The device features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with FWVGA (854x480 pixels) screen resolution which comes around to fairly average pixel density, so the display will not be as sharp as those with HD resolution.

The budget smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek 6582 processor paired with 1GB RAM, a combination that will result in performance that is not uncommon among entry-level handsets. The device has an internal storage of 8GB out of the box, with a microSD slot also present for higher amounts of storage should a user need it. Android 4.4 is an optimized version of the operating system, and overall performance on the Xolo Q700 Club should therefore be better than older smartphones from the company.

In the imaging department, it hosts a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash so that you can capture all your favourite moments either in image or video form. It also features a VGA front camera for selfies and online video calls. The Xolo Q700 Club is 10.8mmm thick and is IP55 certified which makes the smartphone water-proof and dust-resistant, something very few devices priced below Rs. 10,000 can boast of.

Connectivity options include everything you can expect, with 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and also GPS, which can be used to navigate in any weather thanks to the protection offered by the IP55 certification. Up to 17 hours of talk time are supported by the built-in 2,000 mAh battery, which can be charged with the provided microUSB cable (the cable also doubles up as a connector to a computer.)
