YU Yutopia

Dubbed as the world's most powerful smartphone, Micromax subsidiary Yu has come up with their flagship device in the form of Yu Yutopia. The device bears top-notch features and is expected to compete with the likes of OnePlus and Xiaomi.

The latest variant of Yu-series of smartphones flaunts a big 5.2-inch QHD display with excellent viewing angles. The display is bright and clear and also offers good legibility while place out in the sun. Following the Yu Yunique, the smartphone is expected to grab eyeballs. The screen also comes with Corning's Concore Glass protection.

There are LTE bands that offer blazing fast connectivity along with other options, which includes 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. In addition, there are two SIM slots which can be used to use two different networks simultaneously. The device also ships with a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh cell which can keep the smartphone powered for an entire day. In addition, the battery supports Quick Charge 2.0 that can charge the phone up to 60% in just 30 minutes.

Moving over to imaging, the Yu Yutopia sports a stunning 21-megapixel back camera with a 77.3 degree wide angle lens and is coupled with a dual-tone LED flash which can be used for capturing images and recording videos even in dim-light conditions. Selfie lovers will not be left dejected as there is an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Ensuring seamless performance is a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with a clock speed of 2 GHz and also paving the way for lag-free multitasking the smartphone ships with 4GB of RAM. For storing apps, there is 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded as per user requirement via a microSD card using the second SIM slot.

Providing users with the latest Android experience, the Yu Yutopia runs Cyanogen 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Yu Yutopia is the costliest device out of the stables of the homegrown manufacturer and is expected to draw attention considering the hardware and price tag it ships with.
