Vivo X9 is the latest Android-based smartphone that is out from the Chinese smartphone vendor and packs decent hardware. The device looks similar to the other phones under the X-series and sports a fingerprint reader on the front which is embedded in the home button. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design and curved edges which make the device easy to hold.

Vivo X9 is a selfie focused smartphone as is evident from the fact that the device sports dual front-facing shooters. On the front, the smartphone is equipped with a 20+8-megapixel camera. At the back, there is a 16-megapxiel imaging piece onboard which is aided by an LED flash to take care of shots and videos in dim light conditions.
Helping users stay connected to their near and dear ones, the X9 comes with options like Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Also, there is dual-SIM support.

The Vivo X9 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that is bright and reproduces vivid colours even during the most demanding situations. One gets 64GB of internal storage space to store apps and personal data. Unfortunately, there is all that you get as there isn't any expansion slot to boost the storage.

The Vivo X9 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC which ensures that users can enjoy a seamless smartphone experience. The chipset is also paired with 4GB of RAM which takes of multitasking and keeps the device lag-free.
Fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,050 mAh battery, the device is tipped to last throughout the day even for a moderate user.

The device runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system under the Funtouch OS 3.0 out of the box.
