The display on iPhone 6 reproduces accurate colours. Also, the display does not trouble you, when viewed under direct sunlight.  This device comes with an 8-megapixel iSight rear-facing camera. It has a large sensor and a big pixel size, that allows more light to get in, resulting in good low-light pictures. It can also record full-HD (1920x1080) videos at 60 FPS to ensure smooth video recording without any jitters. You can make high quality video calls using the front-facing 1.2-megapixel HD camera but it isn’t that great for selfie maniacs. Although there isn’t much difference between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus in terms of hardware other than the larger screen size, the former lacks OIS. The reason for this is that the sensor was too large to fit into the body of the iPhone 6. While most users won’t miss the feature due to good performance of the iSight camera. However, it would have been even better if OIS was also included.

The device runs on the Apple iOS 8 which can be further upgraded to iOS 9.3.2, which adds a number of functionality and further improves the performance of the device. The iOS 8 adds some new features such as adding voice to text messages, choosing from third-party keyboards, track heart-rate and other fitness parameters, act on notifications without leaving an app, and sync the iPhone with the iPads and Macs. The Apple iPhone 6 is powered by Apple A8 chipset with dual-core 1.4GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based) processor. There is also a PowerVR GX6450 (quad-core graphics) for gaming. The device performs on-par with almost all the smartphone devices in market with its smooth animations and seamless multitasking, thanks to the ultra-efficient iOS and powerful hardware.

The iPhone 6 16GB encloses a non-removable Li-Po 1810 mAh battery that can keep the device up and running for a day with moderate usage.  The device can work on all the Indian 4G bands with its single-SIM card slot. Other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and second generation of lightening connector.

The iPhone 6 houses a fingerprint sensor below the display to unlock the device, the scanner is said to be faster than the scanner on its predecessor to ensure faster unlocking.
