Billion Capture Plus 4GB RAM

With everyone and their mothers (and a few in-laws) jumping into the smartphone manufacturing bandwagon, it comes as no surprise that Indian electronic commerce giant Flipkart decided to enter the arena with their Flipkart Billion Capture Plus 4GB RAM smartphone. The device's specifications look promising and it may have what it takes to breach the highly competitive Indian market. 

The display is a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920x1080, protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. The primary camera is 13+13-megapixels with autofocus, LED flash, 1080p video recording, Bokeh Effect, Super Night Mode, HDR and panorama. The secondary camera is 8-megapixels with fixed-focus and 1080p video recording. The cameras look promising on paper, and we eagerly await the release of the device so that we can test them. 

The  Flipkart Billion Capture Plus 4GB RAM is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD expansion. The device features a dual-tone LED flash and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The battery is a 3,500mAh Li-Po unit that supports Quick Charge, significantly reducing the time required to charge the smartphone. It is expected to run a bloatware-free stock Android Nougat 7.1.2 out of the box. 

The Flipkart Billion Capture Plus 4GB RAM is a dual SIM phone compatible with 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type C port for charging and data transfer. Flipkart is also offering free, unlimited cloud storage with every device purchased. It is one of the many promotions, that will be offered along with the device to entice potential customers.
