Pros
The Honor 9 Lite has an amazing design and build quality. The face unlocking works most of the time. Quad Cameras perform well in bright conditions. It comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The EMUI 8.0 has nifty customization options. The display is vibrant. The battery life is decent.
Cons
The rear camera has a poor low-light performance. The device still has a microUSB port instead of the new USB Type-C port. The device stutters and lags from time to time.

Introduction and Display
The Huawei Honor 9 Lite is a cut-down variant of the Honor 9. The device has a fingerprint sensor at the back. While the smartphone features a full metal body design, one of the unique aspects of the smartphone is that it comes with four cameras; two at the back and two at the front. The Huawei Honor 9 Lite flaunts a 5.65-inch Full HD+ display. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9 and is paired with 2.5D curved glass. Sadly, there is no scratch-protection.
Camera and Battery
As mentioned earlier, one of the talking points of the Huawei Honor 9 Lite is its imaging capabilities. The Honor 9 Lite comes with dual front and rear shooters. At the rear, there are 13MP + 2MP primary cameras. At the front, the handset ships with dual 13MP + 2MP secondary cameras. The Huawei Honor 9 Lite is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery which is touted by the company to last longer than most mid-range smartphones. 
Performance and Connectivity
The Huawei Honor 9 Lite packs a 2.3GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset. The chipset is aided with 3GB of RAM. For connectivity, the handset has options like 4G VoLTE support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Also, there is dual SIM support for users who users two networks at the same time. 
Platform and Storage
The Huawei Honor 9 Lite runs the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system wrapped under the proprietary EMUI 8.0. For storage, there is 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256GB. However, there is no dedicated slot for expansion, and one has to rely on the hybrid SIM slot.
