LYF Wind 1

LYF Wind 1 is a 4G LTE enabled budget smartphone that is based on Android. It features textured back for better grip which is further helped by compact dimensions of 143 x 71 x 8.4mm. The smartphone weighs just 125 grams. The LYF Wind 1 is available in black and white colour variant.

For viewing multimedia and other content, the LYF Wind 1 uses a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) unit with IPS technology for better viewing angles. The pixel density of the screen on LYF Wind 1 is 294 PPI. To record videos and capture images, the LYF Wind 1 uses an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The primary camera has the capability to record full-HD videos while the secondary camera can record videos up to HD resolution. Other imaging modes on the LYF Wind 1 include 6x digital zoom, face detection, HDR and panorama.

The LYF Wind 1 uses 5.1 Lollipop version of Android operating system. The user interface is slightly modified by LYF in terms of looks. Under the hood of the LYF Wind 1 is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset that has a frequency of 1.2GHz. The graphics and gaming are handled by the integrated Adreno 306 GPU that has a clock speed of 450Mhz. The chipset is coupled with 1GB of RAM for hassle-free multitasking. The internal storage capacity on the LYF Wind 1 is 16GB, and it can be expanded to 64GB by using microSD card.

The battery capacity on the LYF Wind 1 is 2,300 mAh which is of Lithium-Ion technology. LYF claims the device can provide a talk time of 6 hours on 4G network. Connectivity features include dual-SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS, microUSB v2.0 with OTG support, and GPS.
