Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus (3GB RAM)

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus 3GB is a 5-inch smartphone device made from aviation grade aluminium. The sleek looking Vibe K5 Plus 3GB is surrounded by a chrome lining on the edge of the front side, while the back of the device features an all-aluminium design with twin speaker setup on the bottom and DOLBY logo just above them. The bold Lenovo logo also contributes to its unique design philosophy.  The device measures 142 x 71 x 8mm and weighs a hefty 142g. It will be available in silver, gold, and dark grey colour variant.

The device features a full-HD display with a screen size of 5-inch that gives it an excellent pixel density of 441 PPI, and the IPS panel provides it with brilliant viewing angles. The downside though is that the display misses any protection against drops and scratches. A 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13850 rear-facing camera is in charge of the primary photography while a 5-megapixel secondary camera is in charge of selfies. The primary camera comes with autofocus and LED flash; it can also record videos in full-HD resolution. The selfie camera has software enhancements for beautification and photo filters.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus 3GB comes loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system that has Vibe UI skin on top of the stock Android. The Vibe UI does not provide an application drawer that results in all the newly installed applications being arranged on the home screen in non-alphabetical order. The device showcases its performance with a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The eight Cortex-A53 cores residing in the chipset are clocked at 1.5GHz. The compact device also comes with 16GB of internal memory with expandability option for up to 128GB.

The device encloses a 2,750 mAh battery, and it can provide a talk time of 7.99 hours and has a standby time of 142 hours. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is a 4G enabled smartphone supporting dual-SIM functionality.
