Samsung has been aggressive in the budget smartphone segment in India. The Galaxy A04s 128GB is the latest addition to the company's lineup of smartphones in this price category. The plastic rear cover of the Samsung Galaxy A04s 128GB is complemented by a waterdrop notch on the front. The smartphone is available in three colours: Black, Green, and Copper. The model is 164.7 x 76.7 x 9.1mm in size and weighs 195 grammes. The device is outfitted with a 6.5-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has a 1600 x 720 pixel screen resolution and a pixel density of 270ppi. The model has a PLS LCD display panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 80.75 per cent. The company has also introduced a face unlock with the latest smartphone.  

The octa-core Samsung Exynos 850 powers the Samsung Galaxy A04s 128GB. The 8nm chipset features eight cores Cortex A55 running at 2.0GHz. It also includes a Mali-G52 MP1 GPU for graphics. The Samsung Galaxy smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card port allows for memory expansion up to 1TB. The business has incorporated a triple-camera arrangement on the back panel for optics. The model has a 50MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, respectively. On the front, the business has included a 5MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system and comes with a custom One UI on top of it.
