Samsung Galaxy Mega 2

The Galaxy Mega 2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with an updated version of Samsung's Magazine UX. It also demonstrates additional software features that improve device usability. The phablet features an 'easy side panel' that enables on-screen navigation with buttons placed on the left/right side of the display depending upon the hand movement of the user.

The phone features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p (HD) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Samsung Exynos 4 (Exynos 4415) SoC quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, Mali-400MP4 GPU with a clock speed of 533MHz, and 1.5GB RAM. Samsung has also integrated 16GB on-board storage that is expandable via microSD card slot. At the rear, the Mega 2 sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED Flash and sensor with 30FPS video recording capability. To delight selfie lovers, there is a descent front-facing camera as well.

In the connectivity area, the Galaxy Mega 2 offers Wi-Fi 802.11n support, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, MicroUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, GPS, GLONASS. An IR blaster is also on-board for controlling televisions and set-top boxes through Samsung's Smart Control app.
