The Asus 6Z comes with a 6.46-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge IPS LCD screen featuring 2340x1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports HDR 10 and is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Design-wise, the phone has an all-screen design making it ideal for gaming and entertainment. Asus has also included Dual NXP TFA9874 smartamp technology for seamless audio output on the phone. Under the hood, an octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor powers the smartphone with Adreno 640 GPU for graphics, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The SD855 chipset is best suited for flagships and is based on the 7nm manufacturing process. In terms of software performance, Asus has integrated the 6Z smartphone with its proprietary ZenUI 6 based on Android 9 Pie.

One of the highlights on the Asus 6Z is its flip camera setup housing a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP secondary sensor clubbed with dual-LED flash. The 48MP primary sensor has an aperture of f/1.79, Laser Autofocus, and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). The 13MP secondary lens offers a 125-degree ultra-wide lens and has an aperture of f/2.4 aperture. The flip mechanism of the camera setup is quite smooth; it comes into action whenever the user needs to use it for front camera photography or the face unlock feature. Interestingly, Asus also allows users to control the rotation angle of the setup as per their desire, which facilitates photography at exciting angles. As for the durability of the setup, Asus has included fall-protection technology that automatically retracts the camera to its resting position in case of accidental fall.
