Blackberry Torch 9800 is the first slider phone from RIM (Research in Motion). It combines a large display touch screen with a slider Qwerty keypad. Blackberry Torch 9800 runs on Blackberry 6 OS and a 624 MHz Processor. It comes with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. Along with the Qwerty Keypad it also includes a touch sensitive optical trackpad. Blackberry Torch has all the standard connectivity options like 3G, Wi-fi, global roaming on GSM, bluetooth etc. It packs a 5 MP auto-focus camera with a LED flash and image stabilization. GPS navigation with A-GPS support and Blackberry Maps is also available. It comes with a 4GB internal memory and 512 MB RAM & 512 MB ROM. Blackberry Torch supports tabbed browsing, multi-touch and pinch-to-zoom support. It comes with Facebook, Twitter and other social networks integration and Universal search.
