Software & Connectivity
The USP of the Google Pixel XL is its operating system. The Google Pixel series will be among the first devices to receive the latest Android OS updates. Unlike the other smartphones out there in the market, that receive the Android OS update after at least six months of Google’s release, the Pixel and the Nexus devices receive the updates immediately. Also, the Nexus and Pixel devices do not contain any bloatware or any unwanted applications, resulting in a very fast and fluid UI response. The Pixel XL comes pre-installed with Android 7.1 Nougat OS. As with every Google smartphone device, the Pixel XL too comes with a single-SIM capability. The other connectivity options that Pixel XL offers are Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and a USB Type-C v3.0.
