The HTC Desire series is an Android phone range by HTC (High Tech Computer Corporation), the Taiwanese company which at one point of time was the market leader when it came to premium Android smartphones. In fact, the first ever commercially available phone to run Android as an operating system was an HTC device — the HTC Dream. The HTC Desire lineup also has a long legacy as it made its debut in 2010, making this a ten year old series. The catalog has evolved quite a bit in the last decade, and the good news is that in 2020, we get a new phone under the HTC Desire umbrella — the HTC Desire 20 Pro. The new budget range phone features a 6.59 inch IPS LCD panel offering a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. You get 6 gigs of RAM and 64GB of storage on this phone as well as the option of adding up to 256GB of expandable memory. All the processing power of this phone comes from its octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset. On the back of the phone, you get a triple camera setup on the back, which consists of a primary 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. You also get a 16MP camera on the front for selfies. Powering the phone is a 4200mAh cell that supports fast charging. Some of the other HTC mobile phones include the HTC Exodus 1s, the HTC Wildfire X, and the HTC U12 Plus.
