HTC One M9 Plus Prime Camera Edition

The HTC One M9+ Prime Camera edition is a variant of the HTC One M9 Prime smartphone with its larger display and heavier but slimmer design. It is a midrange phone for its price of under 30000. It has a large amount of expandable storage space, a strong processor, and a unique 4-Ultrapixel front camera.

The One M9+ has a unique 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution and 441 ppi of pixel density enough to display immensely clear content. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass to protect against accidental falls or bumps. The phone is 168 grams heavy and is 9.6 mm thick. The phone has volume and power buttons on the right of the phone, along with the nano-SIM card tray. The 3.5 mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0 charging and data transfer port are on the bottom edge.  It is available in gun mental, gold, silver and grey colors.

The phone runs Android with HTC Sense on a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU that is cradled by a MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. In comparison, the phone’s 2GB LPDDR3 RAM is not as powerful. Nevertheless, the phone’s performs well under moderate use. On board storage is set at 16GB expandable to 2TB with a microSD card.

The primary camera is 13-megapixels with auto flash, OIS to correct shaky pictures and 4K recording for quality videos, while the secondary is 4-ultrapixels with a BSI sensor. Ultrapixel technology and a BSI sensor together accept more light to render detailed images and improved performance in low-light conditions, perfect for selfies. The phone runs on a 2,840mAh battery that lasts a day with moderate use.

The M9+ Prime camera edition supports only one nano-SIM. The phone also supports 4G LTE for voice and video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS for navigation, Bluetooth 4.1 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
