HTC Wildfire E1

The HTC Wildfire E1 gets a decently sized 6.1-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (720 x 1560 pixels) in the 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets a notch at the top where the front facing camera is located. The display on the Wildfire E1 is not the sharpest one around thanks to its PPI density of just 282. The front fascia of the device is almost fully covered by the display with very thin bezels. Powering the HTC Wildfire E1 is the entry-level MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. This SoC houses a quad processor with all the cores clocked at 2 GHz. Based on TSMC s 12nm manufacturing process, the Helio A22 also integrates the PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics. The phone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with the option to augment the memory further using microSD cards.

The HTC Wildfire E1 features a dual-camera setup at the rear with the primary camera using a 16-megapixel sensor with support for HDR shooting modes. The secondary camera at the rear uses an 8-megapixel sensor. At this point, we do not know whether this camera will be a depth sensor or if it will use an ultra-wide-angle lens. At the front, this phone uses an 8-megapixel sensor that will be used for selfies and video calling. The rear panel also houses a fingerprint scanner for additional security.

The HTC Wildfire E1 features a decently-sized battery with a capacity of 3,000mAh. The handset does not support fast charging. Connectivity options on the device include support for Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The phone also runs Android 9 Pie out of the box.
