Huawei P40 Pro

Beautiful displays have always been the hallmark of Huawei’s flagship devices and that continues to be the case even with the P40 Pro as it sports a 6.5-inch curved display that is rich in terms of both clarity and colors. The AMOLED panel offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a pixel density of 396 ppi. The display comes reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and has a small waterdrop notch at the top.

Huawei always packs its best chipsets on the P-series and this time around the new P40 Pro is powered by the Kirin 990 SoC. The all-new 990 is an octa-core chipset with a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU running graphics onboard. The P40 Pro runs on EMUI 10, Huawei’s custom ROM which is currently offering Android 10. The device packs 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal memory and a dedicated Micro SD slot for extra storage space. The camera, as usual, is impressive and packed full of features. You get a triple shooter setup on the rear with a 48MP primary shooter and a 16MP secondary ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens for your zoom shots. All the cameras feature optical image stabilization which means you can take some steady videos. And for selfies, the phone is equipped with a 32 front camera that is capable of shooting 1080p videos. You can shoot 4K videos with the rear camera.

Huawei has been a market leader when it comes to battery life and charging speed. The P40 Pro keeps up with its predecessors, thanks to its 4000mAh battery and support for 40W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and A-GPS. The phone features both a Type C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
