Intex Aqua Air II

Intex Aqua Air II is the successor to the Aqua Air which was launched earlier. The smartphone is a budget device that makes its mark into the Indian smartphone market with entry-level hardware specifications.

At its heart, the device sports a 1.2GHz dual-core cortex-A7 processor paired with 1GB of RAM to keep things smooth and ensure flawless performance. For installing apps and storing media files, there is 8GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

On its face, the Aqua Air II flaunts a 5-inch screen with FWVGA display. The screen offers fair legibility while indoor but suffers as soon as you step out in the sun.

For connectivity, the device ships with multiple options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802. b/g/n, dual-SIM support, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device packs a 2,300 mAh battery which is expected to last for an entire day with moderate usage.

In terms of imaging, the Intex Aqua Air II comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera coupled with an LED flash to help in dark environments. There is also a VGA shooter at the front but do not expect anything from the front camera as it acts more of a showpiece than an imaging device.

The Intex Aqua Air II is expected to compete with the likes of Micromax Canvas Q331 and Lava Iris Atom.
