Intex Cloud FX Details

The first thing that strikes you about the Intex Cloud FX is the Firefox OS on which this device runs. The majority of smartphones available in the current market today run either on Android or iOS, so this attempt by Mozilla to enter the OS domain with the Intex Cloud FX, is commendable to say the least. Priced extremely affordably, the Intex Cloud FX aims to target first-time smartphone buyers or those who are probably upgrading from a very basic phone model. This device is available in black.
This device features a 3.5-inch capacitive LCD screen with a resolution of 320x480 pixels and a pixel density of 165 PPI. It runs on a 1GHz single-core ARM cortex-A5 processor with 256MB RAM which takes care of all your basic smartphone needs. There s also the Mali-400 GPU for graphics and gaming. It runs on Firefox OS 1.3.
The device comes with 46 MB internal storage capacity which may not be sufficient, so the microSB slot comes extremely handy that allows up to 4GB of additional data storage space. The smartphone features a 2-megapixel rear camera with a fixed focus lens. The device also allows you to take videos.
In terms of connectivity, the Intex Cloud FX offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microUSB port. The device is powered by a removable 1,250mAh battery which gives the phone fairly enough charge to last it through the day. You can go up to 4 hours in Talk time mode and up to 200 hours in Stand By mode.
The Firefox OS appears to be much like Android or iOS as far as the look of icons is concerned. Several pre-loaded apps come along with this device. There is also an app store, called the Firefox Marketplace, from which you can download many of the popular apps.
