The Intex Indie 5 is an entry-level smartphone which can handle basic tasks with ease. The device sports a 5-inch IPS screen with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The screen is protected by a Dragontrail glass. For its size, the lowered resolution will be able to deliver better battery life to buyers.

The camera on the Intex Indie 5 is an 8MP camera with a maximum image capturing resolution of 3264x2448. The smartphone is also able to record videos at resolutions of 1280x720 at a constant 30 frames per second. The phone also features a front camera with an 8MP resolution which is assisted by an LED flash.
