Lava Pixel V2

The home-grown manufacturer Lava has introduced the successor of the Pixel V1 in the shape of Pixel V2. While the former was an Android One smartphone, the latest offering runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based on Star OS 2.0.

It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with a dual-LED flash and wide-angle lens to capture stunning images and record high-definition videos. Also, to add more to your photography skills, the smartphone comes with various modes like beauty mode, panorama, pic focus, etc. For selfie lovers and video calling, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter also paired with an LED flash.

Under the hood, the Lava Pixel V2 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor to ensure flawless performance and to allow users to work on multiple apps simultaneously without worrying about any lag-issues there is 2GB of RAM. Storage is taken care by the 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded using a microSD card up to 32GB.

On its face, it flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and Oleophobic coating that makes the device remain scratch-free. There are no serious legibility issues while you stroll outdoors as the Pixel V2 comes with decent viewing angles.

Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. In addition, there are two-SIM slots that allow you to use dual-network simultaneously. It is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2,500 mAh battery that is expected to carry enough juice to keep the device functioning for an entire day. The Lava Pixel V2 is available in black, blue and white colours and also bears an affordable price tag.
