Lava Z4

Lava added four new smartphones to its Z-series budget smartphones that include Lava Z1 and Lava Z2. Among them the Lava Z4 is one of the affordable Android smartphones. The company for the first time in India has announced the MyZ smartphone and Z-Up program that enables the users to customise their smartphones as per their needs. Coming to the Lava Z4, the smartphone sports a 6.51-inches IPS LCD and is available in two color variants-Grey and Red. As for the optics, the entry-level phone sports a triple camera configuration (13MP+5MP+2MP) on the rear and 16MP selfie camera at the front. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core CPU coupled with 4GB RAM. A PowerVR GE8320 handles the graphics of the handset. In terms of storage, the device packs 64GB internal memory that is further expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card. Moving on to the battery capacity, the smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery that can be charged via USB Type-C. On the software front, the handset runs Android v10 (Q) operating system.

Lava Z4 is one of the four latest Z-series smartphones launched by the brand. The phone comes with a tall 6.51-inches display, decent cameras, and a large battery. The device also ships with a responsive fingerprint sensor and Face unlock. As for the cons, the device is bulky, weighing 190 grams and the display offers a low resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

Design-wise, the smartphone is available in two color variants - Grey and Red. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164.5 x 75.8 x 9mm in dimensions and weighs 190 grams. The device comes with a water-drop notched display with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass v3 protection. In terms of optics, the new budget handset from Lava sports a triple camera setup featuring a 13MP primary camera. The other two camera sensors include a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, the handset features a 16MP selfie camera with a LED flash. The smartphone equips a fingerprint sensor on the rear for securely unlocking the device.
