Meizu A5

China-based smartphone maker Meizu has introduced the company's first A-series of smartphones in the form of Meizu A5. The device sports a plastic rear panel which is topped with rounded corners. The handset is sleek and looks good in the palm. It features a front-facing home button with the power and volume buttons on the right.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display which has now become the norm in most devices falling under the similar price segment. The display is bright and does the job pretty well.

At its heart, the Meizu A5 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset which paired with 2GB of RAM ensures seamless smartphone experience. You can enjoy games and even work on more than two apps simultaneously with ease. However, prolonged multitasking might result in some lag issues.
For apps and other media, the smartphone ships with an internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The expanded storage space makes sure that you can store all that you want.

The Meizu A5 is the company's latest budget offering that comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter that one can use while video calling or capturing selfies. At the back, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera which can shoot images and videos even in low-light conditions thanks to the presence of a dual-LED flash.
The Meizu A5 runs the Android 7.0 Nougat under the Flyme OS out of the box.

The Meizu A5 is loaded with various connectivity options like dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The smartphone is backed up by a Li-Ion 3,060mAh battery which might not sound enough for a moderate user but can last for a long time for a normal user.
