Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is the successor of the Elanza A93. The phone endorses a new approach from Micromax from budget perspective. Elanza 2 A121 is loaded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and It has a Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor that is expected to run the phone quite smoothly.

In the camera segment the handset is packed with an 8 MP primary camera accompanied with a 2 MP front-face camera for basic video calls and selfies. The primary camera is capable of recording 720p HD videos. The camera features are in line with what we expect in mid-range phone.

The internal storage capacity is standard 4 GB, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. This time Micromax has ditched MediaTek chipset and opted for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 processor which is based on 45nm Process technology. The processor is powered by 1 GB RAM for easy multi-tasking.

Talking about the display, the Canvas Elanza 2  boast a 5 inch HD capacitive touch screen display featuring an HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels which is the most you can expect in such budget price range. Besides resolution, Micromax Elanza provides suffice brightness and color reproduction to compete with phones like Moto G. User can view bigger and better images and text on the screen with the Full HD Support to render crystal clear images.

The device comes with connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 , micro USB, GPS and dual SIM support.

The Canvas Elanza 2 has a 2,000 mAh battery onboard which provides a decent battery backup delivering a talk-time of up to 7.5 hours.
