Micromax Canvas HD Plus

Micromax unveiled the new Canvas HD A190, the hexa-core dual-SIM device is set to compete against Karbonn s Titanium Hexa and LAVA s premium smartphone. Priced at Rs 13,500, it is a high-end smartphone in the budget segment, the device offers great specifications and is worth spending on.

The latest offering from Micromax comes with 5-inch HD capacitive touch screen having (1280 x 720 pixels) screen resolution which reflects an effective pixel density of 294 PPI. The screen also has Corning s Gorilla Glass protection to save it from scratches. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Under the hood the device has 1.5 GHz hexa-core Mediatek processor with Mali-450 GPU coupled with 1 GB RAM. The device also comes with an internal storage capacity of 8 GB which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot present on the device. The smartphone is available in two colour variants Black Gold and White Gold.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with autofocus and LED flash which can be used to capture high quality images and record Full HD videos. Paired with the rear camera the device also hosts a 2-megapixel secondary front camera which has the capacity to click selfies and record videos. The device hosts an in-built FM Radio. In addition, the device also supports playback of various multimedia file formats including MP3, MP4, WMA, etc. In terms of connectivity, the Micromax Canvas HD A190 supports 3G with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone is powered by Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which is enough to keep your device powered throughout the day and supports talk time up to 7 hours. Competing against the likes of Moto G and Asus s recently launched Zenfone 5, the hexa-core Micromax device is set to heat up the existing smartphone market.
