Motorola Moto G5S

The Moto G5S is very similar to the Moto G5 that was launched in 2017, but with one major change, the Moto G5S comes with the metal body instead of Moto G5’s combination of aluminium and plastic build. The metal body gives the Moto G5S a premium feel in hand, and it also increases the longevity of the device.

The Moto G5S flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD display that uses IPS LCD technology for better viewing angles. The only downer with the Moto G5S is that it does not feature additional protection over its display. The Moto G5S has a 16-megapixel image sensor on the back that uses phase-detection autofocus for faster focusing and an LED flash to aid in low-light conditions. A selfie camera is a 5-megapixel unit with f/2.2 aperture. The primary camera on the Moto G5S is equipped with auto-HDR to capture HDR images in tricky lighting conditions automatically.

The Moto G5S still uses the Snapdragon 430 chipset which isn't great in terms of performance, but the chipset is ultra power-efficient for longer battery backup. The RAM on the Moto G5S is 4GB, whereas the internal storage is 32GB. The Moto G5S has a fingerprint scanner on the front that can be used for unlocking the device. The Moto G5S comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat OS along with some under-the-hood customisations from the company for better performance.

The Moto G5S packs a relatively small 3,000mAh removable battery which however supports Turbo charging. The battery capacity is less when compared to its rivals like Redmi Note 4. The Moto G5S stays connected wirelessly with the help of dual-SIM 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS.
