The original Motorola Razr came out more than 15 years ago and was one of the most popular phones at a time when smartphones had not even made their debut. Motorola unfortunately struggled to keep up with the competition when the mobile phone world transitioned to powerful smartphones with amazing releases from Apple, Samsung, and HTC. Motorola had disappeared when it was purchased by Lenovo and given a second breath of life. The brand has successfully managed to cut out a share of the market for itself but its greatest moment came when it announced that it was going to launch its first foldable smartphone, and it made sense that the brand would capitalize on the brand recognition of one of its most-loved series of devices. The Motorola Razr has finally made its debut and its a mixed bag. The phone features a 6.2-inch Foldable P-OLED display that offers a resolution of 876 x 2142 pixels and comes in the recognizable clamshell design. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The camera offerings of the device are impressive as it has a 16MP snapper paired with a 3D TOF sensor on the back and on the front, it packs a modest 5MP selfie camera. The phone is powered by a 2510mAh battery which clearly should have been a lot bigger. The Motorola Razr (2019) is the complete foldable phone with an elegant design. The Snapdragon 710 processor is more suited to mid-range phones. On the pricing aspect, the device is priced fairly higher when you take a look at its camera performance and questionable battery life.

The Motorola Razr (2019) is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset from Qualcomm which features an Adreno 616 unit to manage the graphics processing. The phone packs 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage but you can not add any expandable memory a there is no memory card slot. The phone runs on Android 10. The camera specs of the Razr 2019 are decent you get a 16MP primary and a 3D TOF sensor on the back. For front-facing photos and videos, you get a 5MP selfie camera that can also record full HD videos. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30 frames per second.

Of all the puzzling features of the Motorola Razr (2019), perhaps the strangest factor is the battery life. The phone packs a 2510mAh battery, which is quite bad. No doubt that Motorola packed a slim battery so that the design of the phone would not be compromised, but given how much time we spend on our phones, a battery this small can be a huge nuisance. Connectivity-wise, you get a Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, and a Type-C charging port. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front of the phone.
