Panasonic Eluga Icon

Panasonic Eluga Icon is the latest budget smartphone out of the stables of the Japanese manufacturer. The device comes with eye-catching specifications paired with an affordable price tag.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core chipset that makes sure the device functions without any glitches. Paired with an octa-core SoC, there is 2GB of RAM to take care of your multitasking needs. Users can afford to work on multiple apps at the same time without worrying about any performance issues. For storing data and personal files Panasonic is offering 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card slot.

On the front, the Panasonic Eluga Icon features a big 5.5-inch HD display with decent viewing angles. Images produced are sharp with life-like colours. However, there is no Corning's Gorilla Glass protection.

The smartphone supports 4G LTE bands along with other regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS that provides real time navigation and a microUSB 2.0port. All these keep functioning as the device is fuelled by a Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery which carries enough juice to keep your device working for an entire day.

In terms of imaging, the Panasonic Eluga Icon sports a stunning 13-magapixel rear camera using which you can click images and record videos. Helping you in low-light environments is an LED flash. To click selfies and video calling one can use the 8-megapixel front snapper.

The smartphone is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 147 grams. It runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with the Icon UI on top. The device is available in gold and slate colour variants.
