The Chinese smartphone maker, Realme which once used to be an emerging brand, is fast making giant strides in the Indian smartphone space. Within a short time, the brand has garnered headlines, thanks to its offering of smartphones with excellent features at affordable prices. The latest to join the list is the Realme X7 8GB RAM, the brand’s mid-range offering with 5G network connectivity. As for the specifications, the smartphone features a 6.4-inches AMOLED display offering an immersive viewing experience. It offers 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a high pixel density of 411ppi. The display features a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Performance-wise, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U MT6873V Octa-core chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB non-expandable internal storage. Realme has provided the X7 8GB RAM with a 4310mAh Li-ion battery supporting 50W Super Dart fast-charging technology. In the software department, the device runs Android v10 (Q) operating system. Design and Display
The slim and lightweight design of the Realme X7 8GB RAM makes it easy to hold and use. The handset is available in two color variants- Nebula and Space Silver. The handset measures 160.9 x 74.4 x 8.1mm in dimensions and weighs 176 grams. The 6.4-inches AMOLED display of the handset offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 411ppi pixel density. The bezel-less display offers a 60Hz refresh rate and features a punch-hole cutout at the left corner of the device holding the selfie camera. 
Camera and Security
The Realme X7 8GB RAM features a 64MP triple-camera system on the rear that clicks stunning images. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. The rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. The punch-hole display design at the front houses the single 16MP selfie camera at the front. The device equips an On-screen fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. 
Storage and Performance
The Realme handset packs 128GB onboard internal memory wherein the users can store apps, games, media files, and more. On the flip side, it does not support expandable memory. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U MT6873V Octa-core chipset based on a 7nm process and supports 5G. Backing the chipset is a Mali-G57 MC3 GPU for graphics. The RAM configuration of the device is 8GB and accounts for smooth multitasking performance.

The 4310mAh Li-ion battery of theRealme X7 8GB RAM ensures uninterrupted usage for longer hours. With 50W SuperDart charge technology, the battery can be charged within pretty quick time. The company claims that the charger can refill the battery from zero to 50 percent in only 18 minutes. The phone supports an array of connectivity options that includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS with A-GPS, Glonass and USB Type-C port.
