Samsung Galaxy C5

South-Korean smartphone maker Samsung has introduced the mid-range C-series of smartphones with the introduction of the Galaxy C5. The device, in terms of design, is very similar to the A-series which was launched earlier. It flaunts a metallic unibody design which adds to the premium look.

With a 5.2-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080pixels) Super AMOLED display which is paired with stunning viewing angles, one can expect to enjoy videos and play games even more. The screen does not suffer from any major legibility issues and can be read easily even when placed under bright sunlight.

Under the hood, the Galaxy C5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset which is clocked at 1.5GHz. Performance-wise the smartphone is smooth and lag-free. Multitasking is supported by 4GB RAM which also takes care of temporary app storage and makes it easier for you to switch from one app to another. The Adreno 405 GPU will back up graphics and gaming within the system. The Galaxy C5 comes with 16GB internal storage space that can be expanded as per user requirements up to 128GB, with the help of a microSD card.

The Galaxy C5 is a dual-SIM smartphone which is available in black, white and gold colour variants. Keeping all the core specs aside, the 2,600mAh non-replaceable battery should keep your phone up and running for several hours in a day without you having to worry about charging the device frequently.

In the imaging depot, the Samsung Galaxy C5 packs a 13-megapixel rear shooter with autofocus that offers sharp and detailed pictures in ample as well as low-light settings. Videos can be recorded in high-definition (1080p@30fps). In addition, the imaging piece at the rear is accompanied by an LED flash to aid low-light photography. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera also, which is sure to peak the interests of all selfie lovers.

The device runs the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box which brings about the latest Android experience. When it comes to connectivity, the Galaxy C5 offers options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and supports 4G network. There is also a microUSB 2.0 slot on board that enables external media transfer.
