Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro

The Samsun Galaxy Grand Quattro is an Android based budget device that comes with a good quad-core processor but lacks out in the camera front.

The phone sports a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and comes with many features under the hood which allow you to take pictures at a resolution of 2592 X 1944 pixels. The phone also features a secondary VGA camera, which is ideal if you want to make video calls over data networks or Wi-Fi. The front shooter can also capture selfies, though they usually aren t of great quality.

The device is driven by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with Adreno 203 GPU and 1 GB of RAM, which makes the device quite fast. The phone has dual-SIM functionality too. It has 1 GB RAM and internal storage of 8GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB. It has accelerometer, compass and proximity sensors.

In terms of connectivity features in the device, it supports Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, GPRS, EDGE and 3G HSPA.

It has a 4.7-inch LCD TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which produces an effective pixel density of about 199 pixels per inch. Though the device comes with mediocre pixel density, the display is bright enough.

Just like other Galaxy series devices, it sports a removable back panel and has similar looks and feel. It has a flat design with curved edges and metallic sides, which makes it look stylish. It also feels quite comfortable while holding it in the hand thanks to the contoured back. The phone is very sleek and its dimensions are 133.3 x 70.7 x 9.7 mm and weighs around 143 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro runs on Android OS 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) on top of which is Samsung s TouchWiz nature UI. The phone encases a 2000 mAh Li-IoN battery which can give 12 hours of talk time.
