Samsung Galaxy J1 4G

The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G was introduced in India by the South Korean smartphone giant in February 2015 as its cheapest 4G LTE smartphone. It is an lower mid-range Android smartphone that comes with dual-SIM connectivity, and is a 4G LTE variant of the Galaxy J1. It features a 4.3-inch TFT LCD display, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage capacity, and an 1,850 mAh battery. There s a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.

The Galaxy J1 4G features a classic Samsung smartphone design that is similar to the Galaxy J1 and the Galaxy S Duos 3. Thanks to matte plastic back and rounded edges, the device is quite easy to hold, operate, and carry. The device has a physical home button below the display, and the earpiece above it. There are two capacitive keys beside the home button, the power button on the right, and the volume rocker on the left. The microUSB port and the microphone is at the bottom, while the headphone jack is present on the top. The camera, an LED flash, and the loudspeaker are placed on the removable back.

The 4.3-inch TFT PLS LCD screen that can display 16 million colours, and features WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) with a pixel density of 217 pixels per inch. The Galaxy J1 4G is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor that uses Cortex-A7 CPU cores, Mali-400MP1 GPU, and 768MB of RAM that is higher than the standard non-4G variant. There s 4GB ROM and a microSD card slot that is compatible with cards of up to 128GB storage capacity. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and an e-compass is present as well.

HSPA, EDGE, and single-band Wi-Fi b/g/n can be used to connect to the Internet. Samsung is promising up to 10 hours of talk-time on 3G network, 9 hours of internet usage on 3G networks, 12 hours of internet usage on a Wi-Fi network, or up to 40 hours of audio playback on a single full charge of its 1,850 mAh battery.
