Samsung has brought some hardware improvisation in the Galaxy Note 2. The new model runs on 1.68 GHz quad-core Exynos 4420 ARM processor. It has 2GB RAM and variations of internal storage of 16GB. It also has a microSD slot which is expandable upto 64GB. It has powerful sensors which can sense proximity and ambient-light. The sensor can also act as an accelerometer, gyrometer, barometer or a compass and proximity sensors.

In terms of screen size, the device measures 5.5 inches (diagonally). The Super AMOLED TFT capacitive screen has HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution which produces an effective pixel density of about 267 pixels per inch. The device weighs about 180 grams and is 9.4 mm thick. It runs on Samsung s TouchWiz UI. It comes in Titanium Grey, Marble White, Amber Brown, Ruby Wine, Pink, Blue colours. An S stylus pen also comes with Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
