The S-Pen is capable of running a slew of functions and enables smooth functioning of certain tasks. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 8 is powered by Samsung's proprietary Exynos 8895 processor that has four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four cores clocked at 1.7GHz, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card in a Hybrid SIM-slot. On the software front, the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung's custom Experience UI on top.
12MP Dual Cameras, Battery With Support For Wireless Charging
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 packs 12MP+12MP dual rear camera setup, which is complemented by Dual OIS (optical image stabilization), wide-angle lens, Dual Pixel autofocus, and f/1.7 aperture. There is an 8MP autofocus camera on the front with f/1.7 aperture. A 3,300mAh battery completes the package with support for Quick Charge 2.0 compatible with WPC and PMA Fast Charging standards. It also supports wireless charging, which can be utilized with Samsung's wireless charging pad.
USB Type-C Connectivity, IP68 Certification Even for the S-Pen
The flagship is geared with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone includes a slew of sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, heart rate sensor, barometer, gyroscope, Iris sensor, RGB light sensor, proximity sensor, and digital compass.
