The Galaxy S6 64GB is the flagship S series smartphone from Samsung for the year 2015. Samsung has built this device from scratch, meaning, the company has changed their design philosophy from using plastic to using glass and metal. The biggest difference though is the metal frame with Gorilla Glass 4 on the front and the back of the device, also powerful processor and a big leap in the camera department. The device measures 143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8mm and weighs just 138 grams. The device will be available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz.

The smartphone flaunts a gorgeous 5.1-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440) display with a pixel density of 577 PPI. The viewing angles are excellent, and the colour reproduction is accurate, though if the users want the colours to be vibrant, then they can set that in the display settings.
The camera on the Galaxy S6 is a 16-megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus and OIS (optical image stabilization). The primary camera has industry-leading image quality as Samsung has always paid attention to the image quality. The pictures taken have accurate colours, and a good amount of detail while keeping the noise levels low, the OIS helps the camera to capture steady images even if the device shakes a bit. The Galaxy S6 runs on a 2,550 mAh Li-Ion battery that can provide a talk time of 17 hours on 3G network. The device can run through the entire day with light to moderate usage.

Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S6 comes with a heart rate sensor that can be used to measure the heartbeat. The device also features a touch-based fingerprint scanner that can be used to unlock the device.
