Samsung Galaxy S9 Active

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Active is a tougher variant of the Galaxy S9. The smartphone is MIL-STD-810G compliant which means it is expected to perform even in the most adverse climatic conditions and simultaneously is also shock-proof. One also gets the IP68 certification which ensures that the device is dust-proof and water-resistant. The Samsung Galaxy S9 Active also comes with an iris scanner and a fingerprint reader which is placed below the rear camera module.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Active features a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display which offers an excellent visual experience. The screen is paired with awesome viewing angles which coupled with the Infinity display allows you to enjoy videos and games. The screen is further protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood, the smartphone is armed with an octa-core Exynos 9810 chipset which along with 4GB of RAM ensures a flawless performance even while you are working on multiple apps at the same time or playing games over a consistent period of time.
For power, the handset is equipped with a non-removable 4,000mAh battery which is touted to last longer than most smartphones. Also, the battery on the smartphone has quick charging support. You can also charge the Samsung Galaxy S9 Active wirelessly as there is support for wireless charging too.

The handset ships with a 12-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter which is designed to capture quality images and videos in both indoor and outdoor environments. At the back, there is an LED flash too to aid low-light images and videos.
In terms of storage, the device is bundled with an onboard storage space of 64GB which you can expand further using a microSD card up to 256GB. However, there isn't a dedicated expansion slot, and you have to rely on the Hybrid SIM slot.

Based on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Active is tagged with multiple connectivity options which include 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port.
