Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

The age of foldable phones is officially here and it seems Samsung is betting big on the trend. Not only was it among the first manufacturers to launch a phone with a foldable display, the South Korean electronics giant is furthering innovation by launching different devices with folding screens. After the Galaxy Fold, the company has now revealed its latest model the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The foldable phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED display, made of Samsung Ultra-Thin Glass, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels at 425 ppi. You also get a 1.1-inch miniature color OLED touchscreen on the outside to view notifications. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset which has an Adreno 640 GPU on graphics duties. Memory-wise, you get 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard memory with no option to further add any expandable memory. The camera setup on the top of the shell is a 12MP + 12MP dual-snapper setup, which works as your rear camera. For selfies, you get a 10MP selfie snapper. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side and you get a Type C port to charge the 3300mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging. Being a Samsung device, the Galaxy Z Flip s super AMOLED display is HDR 10+ certified and is stunning and vibrant and made of glass. The folding mechanism is completely hidden when you open up the phone fully. The main display offers a resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels with a density of 425 ppi. The 1.1-inch cover display is an AMOLED panel as well, and supports touch control.

Samsung has equipped the Z Flip with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset, ensuring you will get top processing performance out of your smartphone. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. Samsung also offers you Android 10 via its One UI 2.1 operating system. You also get some neat tricks thanks to Flex Mode , which helps you split the content you view across the top and bottom half of your display. And as is the case with most Samsung phones, the camera setup on the Z Flip is really impressive. The dual camera system on the back consists of a pair of 12MP cameras. One wishes that the phone had been packed with a larger battery but given the amount of hardware magic this phone already packs, you could overlook this part. The Z Flip also acts as a wireless charger for your Qi-certified devices like your Galaxy Buds. Connectivity-wise, you get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band Wi-fi support, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS.
