Spice XLife 480Q

Spice has introduced its latest variant of the XLife series smartphones. The latest offering is named XLife 480Q and is an entry-level device.

The Spice XLife 480Q is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs the outdated Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. The device features a 4.5-inch qHD display with (854x480 pixels) screen resolution that makes the device readable.

In the imaging department, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera that allows you to record videos and capture images. To keep the camera clicking in dull conditions, there is an LED flash. One can also click selfies using the 1.3-megapixel front shooter.

The device is not expected to eke out heavy duty performance considering the price point. However, to keep the device running without any major glitches it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC and to support multitasking it has 1GB of RAM. For storing files, one can use 8GB of internal storage but if it does not meet your requirements then there is an option to upgrade up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.

To keep the device afloat, it is backed up by a Li-Ion 1,750 mAh battery. In addition, the XLife 480Q comes with an array of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi-802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
