iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 5 smartphone back in March 2021. The Chinese smartphone maker is now introducing the Neo 5 affordable version, dubbed as the iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G. Compared to the original Neo 5, the iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G gets a IPS LCD display instead of an AMOLED one, and it houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The iQOO Neo 5 Lite 5G features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display that has FHD+ 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution The display panel has a 144Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support. The phone has a punch-hole cutout at the top right side of the screen which houses a selfie camera. Under the hood, the Neo 5 Lite 5G packs a Snapdragon 870 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB onboard storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 11-based OriginOS out of the box. As for the imaging purpose, the phone features triple cameras at the back that consists of a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video-calling, the device sports a 16MP camera. Connectivity-wise the device offers 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The whole package draws power from a 4500mAh battery that supports 44W fast-charging. Other popular mobiles from iQOO include the iQOO 7 Legend, and the iQOO Neo 3.
