Vivo is a seasoned player in India’s smartphone market as it was catering to the budget segment when not a lot of manufacturers were interested in making good devices for this demographic. Vivo was one of the few that did its best to offer value for money smartphones to entry level phone buyers to the point that it became a hit in this price range. But that may be why Vivo had to create iQOO, to go where it cannot. The brand has been fighting to get the spotlight ever since it launched its first phone and it’s great to note that it has been successful in doing it too. It seems iQOO plans to hold nothing back in 2020 as we have seen quite a few exciting phones come out of its labs recently. The latest smartphone from iQOO is the new Vivo IQOO Z1. This phone has a 6.57 inch IPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It is definitely the year of the punch hole as all the significant phone releases we have seen this year have adopted the punch hole as its look. This is in contrast with the water drop notch that was trendy last year. From OnePlus to Samsung to Motorola to Realme and Xiaomi, pretty much every major smartphone maker has a bunch of phones with the punch hole. As for performance, the phone packs a Dimensity 1000+ chipset from MediaTek under the hood. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory and the phone runs on iQOO UI 1.0, offering Android 10. The triple camera system on the back consists of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, you get a 16MP camera for selfies. The phone’s 4500mAh cell supports 44W fast charging. Some of the popular Vivo IQOO mobiles include the Vivo iQOO Neo 3, Vivo iQOO 3 5G, and the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing.
