The Vivo X21i is an improved variant of the Vivo X21. The X21i ships with a more powerful front-facing camera which makes it a selfie-centric smartphone. The device flaunts a metal unibody design and is 7mm thick. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which can be used to record multiple fingerprints.
In terms of the display, the Vivo X21i flaunts a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which reproduces impressive visuals that is sure to attract those who love watching videos or playing games. Sadly, there is no Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and the screen hosts a notch which houses the frontal imaging piece and the proximity sensor.

Under the hood, the Vivo X21i hosts an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which is paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone ensures seamless performance and provides a lag-free multitasking experience to its users.
For shutterbugs, the device comes with dual 12+5-megapixel rear sensors which are aided with an LED flash to capture better low-light images and videos. Also, the sensors come with AI scene detection feature which can recognise skin tone, gender, environment and automatically apply the most suitable filter. The front-facing snapper has been bumped up to 24-megapixels to cater the selfie enthusiasts.

The Vivo X21i is bundled with an onboard storage space of 128GB which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 256GB via the Hybrid SIM slot.
On the software front, the smartphone boots the proprietary Funtouch OS 4.0 wrapped under Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

Connectivity options that you get along with the Vivo X21i include 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Users also get to use two SIM cards at the same time as the smartphone ships with dual SIM support.
