Vivo Y93

The Vivo Y93 is the latest Y-series smartphone out of the stables of the Chinese smartphone vendor. The Vivo Y93 comes with the facial recognition feature but misses out on a fingerprint scanner. The device sports a mid-range price tag and comes pre-loaded with the proprietary Jovi AI assistance. In terms of design, there is a dual rear camera setup and a teardrop-like notch on the front. The notch houses the selfie shooter and the notification sensors. At its heart, the smartphone is bundled with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM to ensure a smooth experience. There is Adreno 505 GPU that helps with the graphics while you enjoy games.

The Vivo Y93 features a 6.22-inch HD+ FullView 2.5D curved glass notched display. Thanks to its 19:9 aspect ratio, the screen looks taller and aid better visuals. Sadly, while most devices come with Corning's Gorilla Glass, the Vivo Y93 misses out on that. For imaging and videos, at the back, you have dual 13+2-megapixel sensors which are assisted with an LED flash. The rear cameras also feature phase-detection autofocus and support an AI-powered portrait mode. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling, selfies and is loaded with features like Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers.

The Vivo Y93 packs a big non-removable Li-Ion 4,030mAh battery but lacks fast charging support. You can expect the battery to last throughout the day but simultaneously refuelling is expected to take close to two hours or more. On the software front, the smartphone is based on the company's own Funtouch OS 4.5 wrapped under Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. 

The device tags along with all the expected connectivity options like dual 4G with VoLTE support, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. For storage, there is 64GB of built-in storage space which as per your requirements can be boosted further up to 256GB via a microSD card.
