Xiaomi found instant success with the Redmi K series few years back. But since then, we have mostly got devices part of the Mi flagship series. Now that changes with the launch of the Redmi K50 series, which includes a Pro Plus 5G variant this time. The new Redmi K series phone features a 6.69-inch AMOLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2460 pixels at a pixel density of 402 PPI. It comes powered by octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and offering 256GB onboard storage that is non-expandable. The phone features a triple rear camera setup that includes 108MP sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP sensor. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera. The Redmi K50 Pro Plus comes loaded with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging via USB Type C port. It has features like on-screen fingerprint sensor and face unlock for added security, music streaming works through USB Type C interface. Other Redmi mobiles in the market are Xiaomi Redmi Note 10T, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra.
