The Redmi Note 3 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery, which is one of the largest battery among the devices in its price range. It can keep the phone up and running for more than a day with about 6-8 hours of screen-on time with multiple apps running in the background. The battery also supports faster charging at 5V/2A. The device has a stand-by time of 264 hours on 3G and can withstand a music playback of 60 hours. Xiaomi has provided the handset with a Hybrid dual-SIM card slot, which facilitates the user to insert two SIM cards at a time or a single SIM card and a microSD card as per user’s convenience. Other connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS (with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS), a microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support, and FM radio. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 also features an infrared port which is the first in its price range and can be used to control electronic appliances.
