Xolo A550S IPS

Priced at Rs 5,799 Xolo has unveiled its latest A-series smartphone in form of A550S IPS. The dual-SIM smartphone is available in only White colour.

The device features a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) screen resolution which reflects an effective pixel density of 233 PPI. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Mediatek processor. In addition the device also has Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.

In terms of memory, Xolo A550S IPS hosts 512 MB RAM paired with an internal storage capacity of 4 GB which can further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera which captures quality images thanks to the LED flash and the Ambient Light Sensor. The rear camera also has the capacity to record high definition videos. The smartphone also has a VGA camera which can be used for making video calls. Further, the rear camera has features like Scene detection and tuning, Face recognition, etc.

The smartphone is powered by a Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery which supports talk time up to 21 hours. In the connectivity forum the device sports 3G, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. It also has an FM Radio. In terms of thickness, the smartphone is 9.1 mm thick.
