Xolo Era

Xolo Era is yet another entry-level smartphone out of the home-grown manufacturer. The low-end device ships with modest specifications and is available in black colour. On the front, there is a 2-megapixel camera to capture selfies and make video calls. The device also has an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with an LED flash which can be used to click images and record videos even in dim light situations.

The Xolo Era flaunts a big 5-inch screen with qHD (854 480 pixels) screen resolution. The display looks good while indoors, but one readability suffers once you are out in the sun. However, one can enjoy low-end games, read and send messages and browse the web with ease. Under the hood, there is a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor which ensures that the device runs smoothly. Xolo has included 1GB of RAM along with the smartphone that fulfills your desire to multitask but only up to a certain extent. For storing files and installing apps there is 8GB of on-board storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card slot.

Standard connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port tag along with the device. The Xolo Era is backed up by a Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery which is enough to keep the device running with moderate usage for an entire day.
