YU Yureka Black

The Yu Yureka smartphone was a very popular device from the company. Now Yu has launched the successor to the Yureka, the Yureka Black. Apart from the name, this new device is entirely different from its predecessor. The Yu Yureka Black measures 142 x 69.6 x 8.73mm, and the weight of the device is 152 grammes. The device comes in black colour variant over its premium metal finish.

The Yu Yureka Black flaunts a small 5-inch display with a rather impressive Full HD resolution. The display size is smaller when compared to the Yureka Black’s competitor like the Redmi Note 4. The Yu Yureka Black has an LED flash equipped with both the cameras, the front and the back. The front shooter has a resolution of 5-megapixels, whereas the main camera resolution is 13-megapixels. The camera can digitally live zoom up to 4 times and comes with features like multi-shot and night mode.

Powering the Yu Yureka Black is a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor that comes in Qualcomm’s entry-level range of processors. The device has a hybrid SIM card slot which can be used to expand memory through a microSD card up to 64GB apart from the device’s 32GB of inbuilt storage. The RAM in the Yu Yureka Black has a capacity of 4GB. The Yu Yureka Black uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system that has a customised theme over it.

The Yu Yureka Black has a 3,000 mAh battery which is usually seen in most smartphones of this screen size and budget. The main upgrade over its predecessor is in the connectivity department as the device is equipped with an essential VoLTE feature which is necessary for 4G only networks like JIO. Also, the Yu Yureka Black comes with 2G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
