Samsung has tasted success with its M-series and continues to add more smartphones to the lineup. Its latest offering, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G, is the first smartphone in the company’s M-series with 5G network connectivity. The phone features a punch-hole design with slim bezels. The phone sports a 6.6-inches IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 266ppi pixel density. For photography, the phone has a quad-camera arrangement with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth camera. The phone has a built-in storage capacity of 128GB with an expandable storage option of up to 512GB using a microSD card. At the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera which also assists in video calling. For power backup, the handset includes a 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port. With quick charging support, the battery can be recharged in a short time. The phone runs Android v10 (Q) operating system.
